Dennis Meadows hails Portia on release of records

The Co-Convenor of Citizens Action for Principle and Integrity, Dennis Meadows has commended Simpson Miller for making her assets public stating that the move will help to eliminate the concerns of corruption in the public service.

Meadows said Prime Minister Andrew Holness and Simpson Miller's declarations will help to develop the culture of transparency that is needed in Jamaica.

Recently, after making his financial records public, Prime Minister Andrew Holness announced that his government plans to pass laws that will make it mandatory for the Prime Minister, The opposition leader and the Finance Minister to make public their financial records.

However, Meadows says he believes it should be mandatory for all public servants to make public their financial records.
