UPDATE: DCP Novlette Grant to act as police commissioner

Deputy Commissioner of Police Novelette Grant is to act as Police Commissioner effective January 7, 2017.
A day earlier, the current commissioner Dr Carl Williams will go on pre-retirement leave.

The Police Service Commission says Grant will act for 90 days.
It also says it intends to publicly advertise for the post.
