Mental Health Matters

In the quiet of the mind, a storm may brew,

Feelings collide, thoughts twist, and skew.

Sometimes we smile, yet ache inside,

Hiding the struggles, we cannot confide.

Take a breath, pause, and see the light,

Even in darkness, hope can ignite.

Your feelings are valid, your pain is real,

It’s okay to rest, to pause, to heal.

Speak your truth, let someone know,

It’s brave to share, to let worries show.

Support is strength, and asking is key,

You are not alone; together, we see.

Self-care is a path, gentle and kind,

A way to nurture body, heart, and mind.

From music, to art, to walks in the sun,

Small steps bring peace, one by one.

Mental health is more than just “being okay,”

It’s caring for yourself each and every day.

Embrace the journey, the highs, and the lows,

Grow through the storms, let your inner light glow.

Remember, your mind deserves love and care,

A safe space within, for healing to share.

Reach out, be kind, give yourself grace,

Your mental health matters, always, in every place.

Earth Revives

Earth revives and has no care

graciously resplendent

in eternal daze

and bountiful is its turn

that flourishes the second

serene is its poise

The heavens do reckon

Tomorrow never comes

today fades away

As the moon that keeps its silence

on oceans gladly laid

The grass has come and worries not

the trees have bowed in sanctity

as nights the stars betroth

But dust is anxious in restless way

though Earth unyoked with winds at play

surrenders it'

peace to the pique of seasons

though joy abounds to infinite

resists the soul'

unflinching light

Though the heavens be still

with hills unfettering

and Earth its sobriety begetting

dust is troubled with flickering

time

with biers content in grace refined....

Christ's Love

When mi weak and my spirit feel low,

Christ hold mi hand and say,

“Rise up and go.”

Through the dark nights when mi can’t see light,

He guides my steps and makes everything right.

His love deep like the wide blue sea,

Still reaching down to rescue me.

Even when I stumble, even when I fall,

Jesus still answers whenever I call.

On the cross He carried the pain,

Washing my heart and cleansing my stain.

Nails in His hands, yet love in His heart,

A love so strong it will never depart.

So I praise Him morning, noon, and night,

Walking by faith and following His light.

For no love on earth could ever compare

To the endless love that Christ still shares.
