Brandon Finzi-Smith, Ryan Chisholm, Senna Summerbell, and Peter Rae have climbed to the top of their respective classes, following the conclusion of last Sunday's go-kart meet held at the Palisadoes International Raceway, Kingston.

Smith leads the Comer 80cc Class on 49 points, with Chisholm on 41 points, leading the Rotax Mini-Max Class. Summerbell leads the Rotax Junior Class on 48 points, while Rae, on 39 points, is ahead in the Super Rotax Class by a mere point over Matthew Williams.

This means that young Smith is the early front-runner for the Abe Ziadie title, which goes to the Jamaica Karting Association's (JKA) Driver of the Year.
