The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index again declined marginally on Thursday.

Slow trading ended with an advance/decline ratio of 25/61.

The JSE Combined Index declined by 1,992.86 points or 0.56 per cent to close at 354,438.51.

The JSE Main Market Index declined by 1,426.90 points or 0.42 per cent to close at 340,945.48, while the Junior Market Index declined by 72.07 points or 1.79 per cent to close at 3,963.89.

The JSE USD Equities Index declined by 10.15 points or 4.43 per cent to close at 219.13.

  • CAC 2000 9.5% Cumul Redeem Prefs, up 14.71 per cent to close at $1.17.

  • Key Ins, up 8.70 per cent to close at $3.25
  • JMMB Group 7.50%, up 7.14 per cent to close at $1.05.

Losers

  • Cargo Handlers, down 11.14 per cent closing at $12.13
  • Stanley Motta, down 10.42 per cent to close at $4.30
  • The LAB, down 8.37 per cent to close at $2.41.
  • Sygnus Real Estate Finance, USD, down 8.33 per cent closing at US$0.11
  • PBS USD, down 8.28 per cent to close at US$1.55

Market volume

24.33 million units valued at over $62.70 million.

Volume leaders were: Wigton, followed by Paramount Trading and Dolla Financial.
