The Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard was again the main operational unit in the exercise.

Trinidad and Tobago's National Security Ministry says it has completed a second repatriation of Venezuelans.

The exercise involved 38 Venezuelans who had entered Trinidad and Tobago illegally over a period.

The Venezuelans were screened by Trinidadian authorities as well as by representatives of the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

“This was to ensure, among other things, that there were no victims of human trafficking among them," said a ministry spokesperson.

The Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard was again the main operational unit in the exercise.
