The Pulse Search For The Million Dollar Girl, both a live event and television reality show, was launched in 2014. The search was won by Alicia Burke and unearthed hundreds of model hopefuls anxious to become international models and to win the $1million prize.

Now, the 2015 edition of the event has commenced, and once again, one lucky girl with the perfect face, body and spirit will be selected Pulse's Million Dollar Girl and awarded $1million in cash and prizes (with no less than $300,000 in cash). Prizes include an airline ticket to New York to visit model agencies, guaranteed modelling contracts and weekends on Jamaica's north coast, among others.

Interested new faces who think that they have what it takes to be the 2015 winner are asked to visit Pulse at 38A Trafalgar Road, New Kingston, any Wednesday at 4 p.m., taking along swimsuit and high heels. The Pulse Search continues to target young men as well. Young women will be accepted in all categories - fashion, petite and full figure.

The TV contestant in the spotlight this week is Victoria Colohar.

The 18 year-old, 5 '6" tall Victoria Colohar is from the St Andrew community of Norbrook. She lists Nell Robinson as her favourite Pulse Models, whom she believes has a look that cannot be duplicated.

Victoria thinks that the most interesting thing about her is that she loves to try new things. She gets bored easily and so is always looking for new things to do that challenge her and stimulate her brain.

Among her fun facts are her love for surfing and riding horses.

Her favourite high-school subjects are business-related, - accounts and principles of business.

Victoria says, "I have entered surfing competitions and have won many prizes. surfing competitions in Jamaica are different as you actually get products related to the sport instead of the standard medals and trophies that are associated with other competitions."

Victoria plays the piano, but she feels not well enough to call it a special talent, although she readily admits that she is an excellent surfer.

"My best character trait is my personality. I am very thoughtful and kind towards others, and that makes me get along well with people. My favourite food is sushi. A lot of people don't like it, but I think it's delicious. My favourite thing to do is go to the beach. it's my favourite place on Earth," Victoria said.

She lists Danecia Clarke as the person she is closest to in the model search competition.
