The Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League’s (JCCUL) Group CEO Robin Levy hands over a symbolic cheque to Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport Olivia ‘Babsy’ Grange. The cheque represents the JCCUL’s pledge of $4 million during the ‘Telethon Jamaica: Together We Stand’, a six-hour live event staged on Easter Sunday, April 12, to raise funds for the purchase of personal-protection equipment for health workers and the security forces caught up in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. ‘People Helping People’ is the mantra of the Credit Union Movement, and it was evidenced by the movement’s donation.
