Six-foot standout Dreanna Williams wins Miss Universe Jamaica Northeast
Miss Universe Jamaica Northeast has named its queen, with Dreanna Williams, a quantity surveying student at the University of Technology, taking the title.
The statuesque Williams, who is more than six feet tall, standing at six feet, three inches, was crowned by beauty queen-turned-regional manager and coach for Miss Universe Jamaica Northeast Sara-Jade Kow and Karl Williams, co-national director of Miss Universe Jamaica.
Kow notably finished as first runner-up in the 2024 Miss Universe Jamaica pageant and took the reigns for Northeast in January.
Williams outnumbered 13 other contestants to win the pageant. Her closest competitor was five feet, three inches tall, 18-year-old beauty, Crystal Sibbley, who gave her stiff competition and was named first runner-up. The second runner-up was 19-year-old Rebbeca-Jane Pinnock.
The coronation took place on Sunday at Lavender Moon Villas in Breadnut Hill, Ocho Rios, St Ann.
Miss Universe Jamaica Northeast is one of five regional pageants including Miss Universe Jamaica Central, Miss Universe Jamaica West, Miss Universe Jamaica Northwest and Miss Universe Jamaica East.
Miss Universe Jamaica East crowned 23-year-old performer and mentor Troy-Ann Anderson on Sunday morning at the Douglas Orane Auditorium at Wolmer's Boys' School in St Andrew.
