Staff at the Manchester Parish Court have been relocated to James Warehouse Plaza on South Race Course Road in Mandeville.

They were being housed under a tent on the compound of the courthouse since a section of the building was damaged by fire on November 7.

The Court Management Services said, administrative functions at the facility started yesterday; however, all matters which were scheduled for the
Manchester Parish Court will continue to be heard at the outstations in Porus and Christiana.

It said too that an information desk that was set up at the parish court since November 8 has also now been removed.

"The Court Management Services salutes our hardworking staff for the resilience and courage they have shown since the fire and continues to ask for the cooperation and understanding of members of the public as we seek to resume normal operations," said a court spokesperson in a media release.
