Happy Parent Month

THE EDITOR, Madam:
November is Parent Month and I would like to take this opportunity, as the public relations officer of the PTA executive of the Eltham High School in Spanish Town, St Catherine, to wish all responsible parents a happy Parent Month.
Parents, children are the future leaders who will take this nation into the next century, and it’s so good to see after your hard work that they become prime ministers and leaders in the various sectors.
Children need both parents, especially fathers to give their sons direction. In many cases, only the mother is around, so on a personal note, that must end and fathers become role models for their children. And finally, I am encouraging you to let your children receive their vaccines. Please allow them to get the Pfizer and you can take the AstraZeneca or the J&J, so that schools can reopen in order for them to have better interactions with their teachers.
