Is it time for new world order?

THE EDITOR, Madam:
This is the era of idiosyncrasies and imbeciles. At the moment a war is taking place wherein there was no imminent threat yet a pre-emptive strike was activated by not one but two world superpowers. In its wake, there is death and destruction, the statistics of both of which are climbing every day.
Today, certain leaders have chosen death over diplomacy and destruction over decisions that lay in the best interests of their own nations. Putinism, Trumpism and Netayahuism are on the rise, while diplomacy lays below the piles and piles of bodies, broken concrete and shattered lives.
In the midst of this chaos, death, bomb blasts and destruction, Cuba suffers, while awaiting her fate from the fury of Trumpism, in this era of idiosyncrasies and imbeciles.
It’s time for a new world order, the one in which peace is sovereign and reigns supreme. A world order in which leadership at the highest levels personifies, fuels, embodies and bears a strong and striking resemblance in words and the resultant actions. This should be encased in the fundamental and worthy values of morals and ethics.
