What! Who exactly are you asking to believe that the US, a first world economy, needs us, a third world developing country, to assist them with immigration problems? Couldn't be sane Jamaicans. - @laud2000

When is the protest? I need to be present for this. - @hooftrotters

You know what Mr. Holness, if you had been open and honest with your electorate during this whole process, chances are you wouldn't have encountered all this "ridiculousness" in the first place. Transparency is what's lacking. You constantly FORGET that you work for us. - @YanSeff

This seems to be the understanding that others have drawn of similar arrangements between that destination and receiving countries. - @gavinmyaz

I thought a part of bilateral agreements is to ensure that it should be mutually beneficial and have some sort of reciprocity, and also; what’s up with the gas lighting? It reminds me of how T&T behaved. It feels as if the goal is to make dissenters seem stupid & negate concerns. - @javeir_stewart

Misinformation can certainly create unnecessary panic, but so can a lack of timely information. Jamaicans have a right to ask questions and expect transparency on matters that could affect the nation. The best antidote to fear is clear communication and an informed public. - Sharon Codner

Yes, relationships between countries should be transactional. Can Jamaica send anyone to US? - Ricky Broderick

Prime Minister, if Jamaica is helping a friend, what specific safeguards are in place to guarantee that no person with a serious criminal background or security risk is sent here, and will the full details of the agreement be made public so Jamaicans can judge for themselves? - Jahein Black

In the absence of facts, assumptions prevail. - Glenford Griffiths

So the question is," why not send them directly to their home of origin instead of Jamaica." - Fabion Rickman

He is right to use the word ridiculous because the deal is ridiculous. - Kingsley Wright

Give us the facts, it will alleviate the need for assumptions. - Betsy McLean

So we a cleanup? Or come to help us? - Maxine Brown

Now that's a very bold statement from the PM.- Benjamin Waysome

You don’t quell panic by calling the fear ridiculous. You get the relevant ministers to explain the position clearly. - Diane Myles Martin
