Gov't to receive millions to aid HIV and STI programme
The government is on track to receive US$20 million to support the National HIV and STI programme.
Health Minister, Dr Fenton Ferguson says the UN Global Fund has recommended a contribution of US$14.9 million towards the programme.
He says the United States President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, PEPFAR will invest US$5 million this fiscal year.
Ferguson says the PEPFAR grant has already been approved by Washington and the Ministry of Health is now in the final stages of doing its work plan.
