Bog Walk councillor Raymoth Notice shot in suspected robbery

Dr Raymoth Notice, the councillor for the Bog Walk division in St Catherine is now hospitalised after being shot at his home.

The circumstances of the shooting were not immediately clear.

However, it's understood that he was attacked about 8:30 this morning at his West Prospect home near Bog Walk.

Dr Notice, a member of the Jamaica Labour Party is also a former Spanish Town mayor and a retired prison doctor.

The police say robbery may have been a motive for the attack.
