During Katzman's visit, she will also assess how the Washington-based financial institution can continue to support various initiatives designed to improve the lives of Jamaicans.

According to an IDB statement, Katzman, who is currently responsible for managing the overall operations of the IDB in Latin America and the Caribbean, will arrive on Wednesday where she will meet with senior Government officials and leaders in the public and private sectors.

She is also expected to visit several large-scale private sector developments and projects along with IDB Jamaica Country Representative Therese Turner-Jones and a small contingent of IDB directors and officials.
