Denham Town ZOSO boundaries expanded

The boundaries of the Denham Town Zone of Special Operations (ZOSO) in west Kingston have been expanded.

A release from the ZOSO Communication Operation Centre this morning said the area referred to as Shooters Hill is now within the zone.

Also, the newly expanded border has pushed the boundary at Albert Street farther westward to include Water Lane. The new western boundary is now Little King Street.

On the northern side, the boundary has been pushed northward from Greenwich Street to Blount Street.

However, the Denham Town Primary School remains outside the zone to allow unhindered access to student and teachers.

On October 17, Denham Town was declared the second ZOSO by Prime Minister Andrew Holness in a bid to rid the area of what he described as rampant criminality and widespread gang warfare.
