Grace’s Big Reveal: You can ‘Winna House’!

Jaw dropping reactions fueled by screams and jubilant cheers filled the open air. Grace Foods announced that this year, the company would be having a ‘Winna House’ promotion, creating a frenzy at Hope Gardens last Sunday
Social invitees painted the lawn in chic elegance for the special occasion. After sampling savoury and sweet treats from the buffet, the attentive audience anticipated that the announcement would be of flavoured proportions. But to their surprise, they were greeted by the exciting news that the company would be giving away a two bedroom house. Partnering with KemTek Homes, Grace Foods is looking forward to making one lucky customer’s aspirations of home ownership, a reality.
Managing Director for Grace Foods Limited, Angeline Gillings explained to Living, “Last year we got major momentum with our ‘Flava with a Beat’ campaign. We had to really think about how to top that this year, and we’ve done through this brand new house, valued at J$14 million and an additional J$3 million in cash and prizes.” She also shared, “Every Jamaican wants to own his or her own home, and Grace wants to be the brand to help them achieve that dream.”
KemTek CEO, Karl Tulloch expressed pride and gratitude in the collaboration efforts with Grace Foods. “Kemtek sees this relationship as a celebration of two Jamaican companies both having multiple decades of existence in Jamaica. The pairing is mutually beneficial and we are excited and grateful to be a part of the life-changing experience the lucky winners will receive, as owning a home is one sure way to kick start economic stability for any family."
The Grace ‘Winna House’ promotion will take the form of an ‘Escape Room’ challenge for the finalists, to take place at the entertainment entity, ‘Puzzle It!’. Locked into a room, contestants will have to use their wit and curiosity to solve riddles and clues to ultimately figure their way out of the room. The first to do so, or the one with the fastest time, wins.
To give attendees an insight into how it all works, they created an on site escape room, and had random ticket holders compete for $25,000 JMD.
The Grace ‘Winna House’ promotion is scheduled to run from January to May of this year, and will feature a number of qualifying rounds and challenges, that will eventually see three lucky finalists vying to win the grand prize: a two bedroom KemTek house in Stone Brook Manor in Trelawny, along with $500,000 worth of appliances from Active Home Centre, insurance for a year courtesy of GK Insurance, bill payments for a year from Bill Express, and a bank account from First Global Bank. The runners up will be able to win cash prizes of up to $500,000 during the qualifying rounds.
