Police constable killed in Old Harbour crash

A police constable was killed in a collision in Old Harbour, St Catherine early this morning.
He is 29-year-old Renaldo Spence of the St Catherine North Police Division and Church Pen in Old Harbour.
It is reported that about 1:15 a.m. Spence was driving a motorcycle along a roadway when upon reaching the vicinity of Island Farms he collided with a Toyota Fielder motor car which was travelling in the opposite direction.
Both the car and the bike were extensively damaged.
The drivers sustained injuries and were taken to the Spanish Town Hospital where Spence succumbed.
The crash is being investigated by the police.
