Skeletal remains found in Mount Florence, St Catherine
The Glengoffe police in St Catherine are trying to identify skeletal remains which were found in the community on Sunday.
The police say about 2:00 p.m., passers-by in Mount Florence district, Glengoffe, stumbled upon the skeletal remains on the bank of a stream.
The police were summoned and initial checks revealed the remains to be that of a human being.
The police said a multicoloured pair of shorts was observed at the lower part of the skeleton.
The remains were removed to a funeral home while investigators await the post-mortem examination.
