Worker shot dead at Portland garage

The Portland police are investigating the shooting-murder of a worker at a garage in Prospect on Monday afternoon.
His identity has not been released.
The man was reportedly at his workstation at about 4:17 p.m. when he was attacked by an alleged gunman, who escaped on foot, a police official said.
Several persons who were in the vicinity of the garage reportedly jumped into a nearby drain after hearing multiple explosions.
The man was later pronounced dead by a doctor.
Monday's incident brings to two, the number of persons murdered in the Portland police division since the start of 2025.
