Three men charged over machete attack in Denbigh, Clarendon
Three men have been charged with assault after allegedly using a machete to beat a man at a bar in Denbigh, Clarendon, on January 31.
They are two drivers - 32-year-old Evans Williams, from Bushy Park, and 28-year-old Neil Dawes, from Castleton Drive, New Bowens, and 25-year-old undertaker Kemar Watson, from Hillview Crescent, New Bowens.
Reports from the May Pen Police indicate that the incident stemmed from a dispute between a man and the accused men, around 10:30 p.m.
During the confrontation, one of the men allegedly used a machete to slap the complainant several times on one of his legs, causing it to break.
The injured man was later admitted to a hospital.
The following day, an identification parade was conducted, and all three suspects were positively identified.
