The Desnoes & Geddes (D&G) Foundation, through its ‘No Male Left Behind’ initiative, reinforced its commitment to youth empowerment on Boys’ Day at Cockburn Gardens Primary & Junior High School. Male volunteers from the foundation engaged boys from grades two to five in thought-provoking discussions on identity, future planning, and the power of positive role models under the theme ‘Mentoring Heroes: Saving Our Boys … Shaping Their Future’. Here D&G Foundation accountant, Dennis Beckford, leads a heartfelt discussion with a few grade five boys after a session about shaping their futures and becoming heroes.
