Free bleachers entry at Grand Slam Track

Following a low turn-out on the opening day of Grand Slam Track yesterday at the National Stadium, the organisers have announced there will be free admission to bleachers seats for the remaining days of the competition.

The professional track league had its inaugural launch on Friday in St Andrew, but had failed to bring out the numbers to the 35,000-seater stadium at Independence Park.

Day two action will continue today with the top junior athletes from Champs taking to the track at 4:10 p.m. to compete in the 400m, 200m and 100m races, before the Grand Slam racers begin their schedule at 5:42 p.m.
