Former sales representative accused of pocketing money from customers charged
A former sales representative at a St Andrew manufacturing company has been charged for allegedly pocketing money collected from customers.
Charged with larceny as a servant is 34-year-old Lorian Hyde.
Her court date is currently being finalised.
The police report that between October 2023 and November 2024, Hyde collected money from customers but failed to hand it over to her employer.
An audit allegedly revealed several irregularities in accounts managed by Hyde.
A report was made to the police, and she was implicated during the subsequent investigation.
She was charged following a question-and-answer session in the presence of her attorney on Thursday, May 22.
