St Ann man succumbs to injuries three months after chopping incident

A St Ann resident who suffered multiple chop wounds to his head three months ago succumbed to his injuries at the St Ann's Bay Hospital on Wednesday night.

He is Richard Brown, a 58-year-old labourer of Eltham, Ocho Rios, St Ann.

It was reported that, about 2 p.m. on February 27, Brown was attacked and chopped on the head while at his home.

He was taken to the St Ann's Bay Hospital, where he was admitted.

The Ocho Rios Criminal Investigations Branch is probing the matter.
