Three people arrested as police investigate murder of 19-y-o Derricka Rodgers

The Clarendon police have arrested three persons, including a woman, in relation to the murder of 19-year-old Derricka Rodgers.

Rodgers, a sales representative of Gravel Hill district, Clarendon, was reported missing and was subsequently found dead in a pit in Milk River, Clarendon, on Sunday.

The two men and a woman were taken into police custody following the discovery of her body. The police say their names are being withheld pending further investigations.

According to reports, Rogers left home on Tuesday, May 27, to visit an acquaintance and was last seen at the Milk River bus park in May Pen.

Her disappearance sparked concern among her relatives, friends and members of the community, culminating in Sunday’s tragic discovery.
