The Jamaica Constabulary Force has launched an investigation into the fatal shooting of two persons in St Mary on Thursday night.

They have been identified as Shaquille Harris, also known as 'Nick' or 'Big Red', and Tiffany Douse, also known as 'Nikki', both of St Catherine addresses.

The police say they are reportedly relatives of the police constable who is alleged to be responsible for the recent murder of assistant teacher D'Johnnay Graham.

Reports are that the two victims were at a candlelight vigil for Graham in the Essex community when explosions were heard about 10:30 p.m. Both victims received gunshot wounds and were later pronounced dead at the hospital.

The police are inviting anyone with information to come forward and assist with the investigation.

They say further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

Twenty-year-old D’Johnnay Graham was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend, a policeman, who then attempted suicide by shooting himself in the head, in Beecham Hill, Flint River, St Mary, on June 25.
