The St Andrew South police are seeking the public's help as they seek to locate a man who is wanted for murder and who is considered armed and dangerous.

Being sought is Deandre Williams, otherwise called 'Yankee', 'Yanks', and 'Streetlife', of Nanny Boulevard and Chisholm Avenue in St Andrew, who is being asked to report to the Hunts Bay Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) immediately.

The police say an intensive search has been launched to find Williams.

He is said to frequent the communities of Nannyville, Stony Hill, Chisholm Avenue, and Swallowfield in St Andrew.

He is also known to use various motels and guest houses across the Corporate Area, according to the police.

The public is being strongly advised by the police not to approach Williams, as he is considered armed and dangerous.

Williams is being urged to turn himself in peacefully.

Noting that members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force are highly trained and equipped with superior capacity, the police say any attempt to confront law enforcement will only result in serious consequences.

The police are appealing to anyone with information on the whereabouts of Deandre Williams to contact the police emergency at 119, Crime Stop at 311, Hunts Bay CIB at 876-923-7230, or the nearest police station.
