14-y-o boy killed in crash in Clarendon

A 14-year-old boy died on Sunday following a crash in Clarendon.
He has been identified as Jayden Smith of Crawl River district in the parish.
Reports are that about 6:30 p.m., Smith was inside a Nissan motor car, which crashed along Chapleton Road.
The car was extensively damaged and Smith suffered severe injuries.
He was assisted to the May Pen Hospital, where he subsequently died.
The 42-year-old driver of the vehicle was warned for prosecution.
The matter is being investigated by the Chapleton police.
