17-year-old charged for stabbing of teen during argument
A 17-year-old boy of the Temple Heights district in Stony Hill, St Andrew was charged by the police on Saturday in connection with the stabbing of another teenage boy during an argument in their community.
He has been charged with wounding with intent.
Reports from the Stony Hill police are that about 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, the boy allegedly brandished a knife during an argument and inflicted stab wounds to the other teen’s head and upper body.
The injured teen was taken to hospital, where he was treated.
Following investigations, the 17-year-old was taken into custody and charged after he was identified in an identification parade on Saturday, December 20.
His court date is being finalised.
