Kiwanians serve in Fine Style
It is the most wonderful time of the year and it is at this time that the Kiwanis Club of Kingston holds their 52nd Grand Charity Ball.
This year's proceeds would go towards the blood or plasma storage capacity of the Jamaica National Blood Transfusion Service (Blood Bank). With this in mind, guests had no reservations letting their hair down for a worthy cause.
Men and women came dressed like Lords and Ladies at a ball, and Fab 5 had them gliding through the decades on the dance floor. The formalities were brief with a welcome by President Dalma James. Master of Ceremonies Robert 'Bobby' Finzi-Smith, kept the programme running smoothly with his entertaining sense of humour.
Cabaret performer Althea Hewitt and Christine Virgo were a delight.
The night was filled with fine dining and entertaining and guests no doubt made their way home feeling much more delighted than when they came.
