Charlie Smith High School defeated Donald Quarrie High School 5-0 in their opening Group B match of the ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex this afternoon.
Tahj Reid scored a brace in the win with Michael Bryan, captain Gianni Golding, and substitute Damar Brown also getting on the scoresheet.
Charlie Smith dominated the game from the start with 17 shots, nine of them being on target. Donald Quarrie had 10 shots with four on target.
Donald Quarrie were reduced to 10 men with 10 minutes to play when Tavaine Butler was shown a straight red.
