Rushell Clayton won heat six of the first round of the Women's 400m hurdles at the IAAF World Championships.
Clayton crossed the line in 55.23 seconds to qualify automatically for the semi-finals tomorrow at 1:05pm.
Sage Watson of Canada came second in 55.57 and Meghan Beesley of Great Britain finished third in 55.97 seconds.
Clayton will join Shiann Salmon who qualified earlier in heat one of the first round.
However, Ronda Whyte's time of 56.37 seconds was not fast enough to advance among the four fastest losers.
