Thompson Herah given doctorate by University of Technology

Elaine Thompson Herah was conferred with an honorary Doctor of Laws degree by the University of Technology on Wednesday.
The degree is one of many accolades to Thompson Herah's name this year, having won three Olympic gold medals at the Tokyo Games last summer. She also claimed the national record over 100m and was named World Athletics' Female Athlete of the Year.
Thompson Herah is considered a frontrunner for the RJRGLEANER Sports Foundation Sportswoman of the Year award.
