#Carifta2022 | Gordon leads sprint hurdles quinella, Curacao's Sophia brings first gold
Jamaica's Shaquane Gordon led a one-two finish in the Boys' Under-17 110m hurdles at the 2022 Carifta Games inside the National Stadium this evening.
Gordon took the title in 13.69 seconds ahead of his teammate Jadan Campbell, whose silver-medal finish was clocked at 13.91. Jermahd Huggins of St Kitts and Nevis was third in 15.21 seconds.
Meanwhile in the Under-20 category, Curacao's Matthew Sophia upset the applecart to win in 13.88 ahead of Jamaica's Demario Prince, who stopped the clock in 13.88,
Antoine Andrews of the Bahamas was third in 13.91.
