CG2022 | Bronze for Smikle in discus

Jamaica’s Traves Smikle copped the bronze medal in the men’s discus at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England on Thursday.
Smikle produced a fourth-round effort of 64.58 metres for the bronze.
Australia’s Matthew Denny with a personal best effort of 67.26 metres won the gold medal with England’s Lawrence Okoye winning the silver with a 64.99.
Jamaica’s second representative, Roja Stona finished in sixth place, as his best throw of 62.15 metres came in the third round.
