CG2022 | Bromfield makes women's 400m final

Jamaica’s Junelle Bromfield has qualified for the final of the women’s 400 metres after securing a non-automatic spot by finishes fourth in semi-finals two of the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England on Friday.

Bromfield, finished in 52.18 seconds, in a race that was won by Barbados’ reigning World Championship bronze medalist, Sada Williams who stopped the clock at 51.59.

Jamaica’s Bromfield joins, England’s Victoria Ohuruogo, Jodie Williams and Ama Pipi, Scotland’s Zoey Clarke, Malawi’s Asimenye Simwaka, Canada’s Kyra Constantine and Williams for Sunday’s final.

The final is set for 5:00 am Jamaica time.
