CG2022 | Richards ends sixth in men's shot put

Jamaica’s only representative, O’Dayne Richards, had to settle for sixth place in the men's shot put final at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England on Friday.
Richards, on his final throw, did 19.90 metres.
The gold medal was won by New Zealand’s Tom Walsh who had a best effort of 22.26 metres. New Zealand also secured the silver medal through Jacko Gill, who threw a personal best of 21.90 metres as England’s Scott Lincoln with 20.57, rounded off the medal winners.
