CW2022 | Scott finishes fifth in men’s triple jump

Jamaica’s Jordon Scott placed fifth in the men’s triple jump at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England on Sunday.

Scott leapt 16.11 metres on the third of his six attempts but was well short of the medalists, as India copped gold and silver with Eldhose Paul winning with 17.03 metres, ahead of Abdulla Abookacker Naranglintevid with 17.02. Bermuda’s Jah-Nhai Perinchief was third with 16.62 metres.
