STATHS start with win against Haile Selassie

St Andrew Technical High School (STATHS) defeated Haile Selassie High School 3-2 in their ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup quarterfinal game this evening at Ashenheim Stadium.

Alexavier Gooden opened the scoring in the 23rd minute for STATHS before Jahwan Payne equalised with a brilliant effort in the 44th.

Jarrain Selvyn gave Haile Sellasie the lead from the penalty spot in the 52nd minute before a brace by Andre Salmon in the 56th and 82nd turned the tide and earned three valuable points for STATHS.

Jamaica College and STATHS are tied on three points but JC lead the group with a better goal difference.
