Edwin Allen’s Rickeisha Simms booked her spot in the final of the Class One girls’ 800 metres, after strolling to victory in semi-final one in a time of 2:16.18 minutes, qualifying as the fastest at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls’ Athletics Championship today.

Simms will be joined by teammate Monique Stewart; Alphansus Davis High’s Carlene Temple and Allecia Johnson; Hydel High’s Abigail Campbell; Holmwood Technical’s Cindy Rose; St. Catherine’s Kitania Headley; and St. Andrew High School for Girls' Rihanna Gayle.
