Leaders Guyana Harpy Eagles trailed the Leeward Islands Hurricanes by just five runs with nine wickets remaining at the end of the second day of their West Indies Championship match at Warner Park in St Kitts yesterday.

Responding to the Guyana Harpy Eagles’ first-innings 193, the Hurricanes, led by Keacy Carty with 92 and Jahmar Hamilton (90), scored 335, a lead of 142.

Matthew Nandu, with 53 not out, and Kevlon Anderson 31 not out are leading the Harpy Eagles fghtback after Raymond Perez fell for 49. The Harpy Eagles will enter tomorrow’s third day on 137 for one.
