Any good party needs a VIP section, and Cabana City is the metropolis within Osmosis' Metropolis. Where did the idea (and the name) come from for Cabana City?

"We have always wanted to reward the patrons that were with us from the beginning. So that's why we decided to create this area two years ago for our more mature guests, sponsors, and corporate partners, who want a different Osmosis experience. The name came from the nightlife scenein Miami Beach where Cabanas are the symbol of VIP and sophisticated nightlife.

The guys said that if turnout that year was an indication, it was a huge success, as that 2008 party was the largest turnout to date.

"They liked that they were still able to feel the vibe of the energetic patrons in party central, while enjoying a few more premium beverages and fine cuisine."

Of course, Osmosis always takes it to a higher level. Hence, last Christmas, Mad Circle began to include some of the popular nightspots in Jamaica to host cabanas within Cabana City, which was a very well-received concept to add to the already exhilarating experience.

"This year we are building on that by including popular spots such as Club Privilege and the Acropolis Gaming Lounge, who will both be showcasing their drink mixes and decor." They described Club Privilege as "the newest hot spot in Kingston and they were equally excited to have Acropolis on board as "they are renowned for being a popular hang-out and drink spots for Jamaica's influencers."

Exquisite food

Not all VIP areas are created equal and the team feels that with Cabana City, you can actually see and feel the difference while still being part ofthe overallvibes which makes Osmosis the party that it is.

"The food is exquisite, the drinks are exotic, the decor is fabulous, and the personalities that make up the area are true to the definition of being a VIP. The guys also promised speciality mixes courtesy of Smirnoff Vodka's newly launched flavours, passion fruit and cranberry.

And if you're thinking about food, the Coca-Cola Food Court will be a new addition to Osmosis. The food is always talking point of Osmosis patrons as they never seem to run out.

"It's really all about overextending ourselves. We work out how much food we need for our estimated attendance and then we double it," the team explained. All our restaurants are hits, so I wouldn't want to say anyone is more preferred, however Cuddyz chicken and shrimp pasta, Rib Kage Ribs and Dragon Garden Chinese are normally the first restaurants to finish serving based on demand."

So impressive is the Coca-Cola setup, Reggae Jammin and Pizza Huthave created their own food court within the food court, both showcasing a number of their quality products.

"This year will be a monumental year for the Osmosis food court, as not only is there an improved delectable menu, but the setup will be never before seen at an event in Jamaica. You do not want to miss the Osmosis Food Court this year," they said.
