They say if you cannot find love, love will find you, and that was exactly the case for military lovers Luron Claude Wright and Alexandra Kathryn Dilworth.

"When you know, you know!" is how Wright described his instant attraction to Dilworth, when he met her nearly two years ago.

Both Wright and Dilworth are members of the United Kingdom's armed forces. Born and raised in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Wright, who has been an active member of the Royal Navy in the United Kingdom (UK) for more than 11 years, crossed paths with Dilworth of the Royal Air Force while stationed on base in Norfolk, England.

He tells Flair, "When I first met Alexandra, I was joining the unit we are now working together in - Tactical Imagery Intelligence Wing, RAF Marham. She worked in the support cell, while I worked in another section. We used to share the same shift 12 hours a day. We didn't speak much in those first few weeks, but as time progressed, we got to know each other, and it was then that we realised our sense of humour was almost identical. She was funny, beautiful and someone who shared my philosophy of working smarter not harder."

Coupled Proposal

The two hit it off almost immediately and after weeks of courting, Wright decided that she was the one for him. "After weeks of dating, I popped the question while holding her hands in bed, and Alex was only too happy to say "Yes!" We kept that proposal between us until I could find her the right ring, so we really had 'two' proposals," he disclosed.

The second proposal came after taking a short vacation to Egypt in April 2013. They returned to the UK and he sealed the deal, making it official, with a rose gold diamond engagement ring that he knew she adored.

Soon after, Dilworth was deployed to Afghanistan, and upon her return they initially wanted to have the wedding in Jamaica, but decided to instead have it in the United Kingsdom with plans to visit Wright's hometown of Montego Bay, since many of the family members would not have been able to attend.

On May 10, 2014, the two exchanged nuptials in a civil ceremony inside Oak Field Manor at Chester Zoo, near Wales. The beautiful bride wore a gorgeous Sottero and Midgley lace bodice wedding dress, accentuated by a scooped neckline, giving way to a soft ethereal tulle skirt adorned with a Swarovski crystal beaded belt finish. The handsome groom broke away from the traditional black suit and instead went with a suave grey tux.

About 30 of their closest family members and friends attended their lovely ceremony, witnessing heart-warming poetry as well sharing in the declaration of love and the exquisite exchange of Dilworth's rose gold with a morganite diamond ring and Wright's Palladium ring.

Not even wind and rain could stop the safari of the zoo, ending their full tour at the elephants' enclosure. The most enchanting and blissful moments came during the speeches. "It is great to be in a room with people who you love and who love you, wishing nothing but the best for you," noted the proud groom.

Then it was time to party with a reception that ran until midnight. With his voice laced with jest he told Flair, "Now she's 'Wright' all the time!"
