A 42 year old Jamaican man is to spend the next five years in prison after he illegally re-entered the United States after being deported.

Donovan Wayne Tucker’s criminal history includes arrests and convictions for attempted burglary, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, extortion and child pandering.

He was sentenced to a 60-month jail term and is to be re-deported to Jamaica after he serves his time.

According to Carib World News reports, Miami’s Fugitive Operations Team arrested Tucker on October 1, last year.

Investigators also found that he lived in Canada for most of his adult life.

Tucker has been linked to nine arrests in US cities including New York, San Francisco, Albany and Las Vegas.

He was reportedly able to avoid prosecution by using various aliases.
