Tanzania president to visit Jamaica

The president of Tanzania, Jakaya Kikwete, is to pay an official visit to Jamaica from November 24 to 26.
The government today announced that Mr Kikwete made a formal request to visit the country which was approved by Prime Minister Bruce Golding.
Kikwete\'s administration has introduced reforms, which have resulted in economic growth of between 5 and 7 per cent, and the president plans to share these measures with local officials.
