UWI Fun’d run

A member of Racers Track Club is to participate in a 5K Walk/Run, dubbed Education Fun\'d\' Run to be staged by the University of the West Indies Open Campus, Events Management Students this Sunday beginning 7a.m.



The Education Fun\'d\' Run starts and ends at the UWI Open Campus and will take persons past the seven schools that are set to benefit from the proceeds derived from the event.



The schools include, Convent of Mercy Academy “Alpha”, Alpha Boys School, Jessie Ripoll Primary, Clan Carthy Primary and High, Amy Bailey Basic School and St Francis Primary.



Head of Marketing and Public Relations for Racers Track Club, Carole Beckford said the Fun’d Run is an opportunity to support a cause that will assist in empowering the nation’s youth.
