Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of the Criminal Investigation Branch, Les Green said he is not surprised at the number of recent reports of police personnel being named in illegal activities.

ACP Green said when he recently spoke out about the involvement of police personnel in criminal activities, he did so on the basis of information he received from some wayward cops.

He has renewed his warning for police personnel to heed the call to abstain from involvement in crime.

ACP Green is also supporting the call on the weekend by Acting Commissioner of Police, Owen Ellington for police personnel to disassociate themselves from criminals and uphold their Oath of Office.
