The charred remains of what is believed to be a human were found in a burnt out car in Clarendon today.

The Hayes police made the discovery just after 1pm.

The police were summoned to the scene by residents of the New Bowen community in Hayes who found the burnt out Toyota Corolla motor car.

Investigators say they stumbled on the remains during a search of the burnt out vehicle.

It’s believed that the remains could be those of a missing member of the One Blood gang who has been identified as “Lenky”.

However the police are yet to confirm this.

“Lenky” has been missing for several days.

The police say their investigations have revealed that the registration number on the car belongs to another vehicle.
